Obsidian Jewelry, created by Jeff and Leigh Kohnfelder, is built on a deep appreciation for the beauty and energy of natural stones. Since 1997, their designs have honored the unique character of each gem—ranging from bold statement pieces to simple, elegant settings that let the stone speak for itself. Their journey began with a heart-shaped piece of Rainbow Obsidian found near the pyramids of Teotihuacan, which inspired the company’s name and mission. Under both the Obsidian and IXEL lines, they’ve continued to combine artistry with intention—offering not just jewelry, but tools for healing, growth, and connection.
